Holding The Music. One Record at a Time.
Coming back to vinyl reminded me that DJing, at its core, isn’t about tools or trends. It’s about listening deeply and sharing that experience with others. Vinyl slows me down in the best way. It asks me to be present. To hold the music.
I started playing records long before it felt nostalgic. Playing on vinyl was simply how it was done. Over time, like many DJs, I moved away from records as technology made things easier and lighter. Eventually, I returned to playing on vinyl and practicing throughout 2025 to be able to do 4-5-hour sets exclusively on vinyl. These nights were about patience, trust, and letting the music lead. I recorded a few of those sessions and share them with you below, exactly as they happened—no edits, no shortcuts, just vinyl. One record at a time.
