Merkaela's Manifest Playlist is Now Live On Spotify

When you close your eyes and make a wish what do you wish for? Do you dream of lavish riches, and unspeakable fame? Does your ego get in the way of making a wish that actually matter? When we get to the bottom of who we truly are only then can we manifest our truest wishes.

Merkaela's latest offering got me thinking about music that connects instantly. Connects in a way that we sometimes can't even explain. I like that song, you say immediately. We can't always verbalize why, but you certainly feel it instantly. For the latest music companion I choose songs that had an immediate and even visceral effect on me. Something that I relate to manifesting your deepest desires. 

The first 2 songs have an acoustic, yet immediate edge to them. The African chant-like sounds of Ali Farka Toure and the slow serenading of Truth by Alex Ebert set the perfect tone for manifesting something in your heart. Songs by Nessi Gomes and Amare Toure reach straight for your heart. A song by Mark de Clive-Lowe doesn't necessarily have the same immediacy but certain has the warmth and the tone to envelope you in it's frequencies. 

The rest of the songs on the playlist have that same quality of a warm embrace. Even more synth based and digital cuts by Purity Ring, Botany and Twin Shadow share the same feeling. 

Close your eyes. Let go of your ego. Press play. Think about what truly moves you. Manifest it.
